Make Your Own Salad Dressing

Make Your Own Salad Dressing

Got two minutes before dinner? Why not make your own salad dressing!

It’s simple and easy enough for your small children to make.. and it’s an opportunity to be scientists and chefs.

If you’ve got a bit more time try these simple activities with your students or your kids at home and explore why oil and vinegar don’t mix naturally, how you can get them to mix and what makes a great salad dressing.

This resource is suitable for Grade 3-6 students and will explore the concept of emulsion. Or you can just check out our salad dressing recipe on page 5!
